hope you get your game in red. everyone else in the NFC West lost this week, so this is your opportunity to gain a little ground. Very Happy

Jim Harbaugh and his 49er's come out of their bi-week with high hopes of getting back into the NFC West hunt after their disappointing 1-5 start. When asked what he believes was the biggest reason for the slow start he replied "The lockout hurt us more than any other team with a new coaching staff, new offensive and defensive schemes for our men to learn, but Camp Alex did help the guys learn the basics of our offense."

During the last few weeks Harbaugh went out and retooled the roster with some talent to at least get the fans at ease. Traded for Reggie Bush, CJ Spiller, Braylon Edwards, Taylor Mays, and quarterback Colin Kapernick. The team only gave up WR Andre Johnson and a couple draft picks for these talents.

49ers took the field rested and refocused, playing the Browns at home on a windy Candlestick Park afternoon.

49ers new QB came out playing very smart, using his checkdowns without forcing anything downfield, allowing his targets to take what the defense gave them. Colin spread the ball around to 8 different targets as newly acquired RB CJ Spiller added 108 yards on the ground as well.

49ers defense played very solid as well holding Browns QB Tom Brady to 153 yards and a 66 QB rating, while 49ers Kapernick threw for 182 yards with a 96 QB Rating.

Good solid start for this newly invigorated 49er team. Kapernick went 24-32 in his debut hitting safe throws to every area of the field. CJ Spiller fits in nicely with this team as well.

49ers didn't light it up, but they all played a very sound game, executed when they needed to, as this team continues to learn these new systems, they will thrive and build on each little success.

Taylor Mays made his presence felt putting Michael Turner on the shelf for a part of the game after a viscous hit. Good overall start for the hungry 49er team.

    End score 49ers 24, Browns 14.

Lol, I know you didn't just compare your single victory to a Goldberg type of streak.
